COLLEGE CONSIDERATIONS
In 2026, Global Basketball Pathways will officially launch and seek to partner with Promondo Sports, particularly in the NIL space. We are acutely aware of our strengths built around our stakeholder engagement eg FIBA Oceania, Basketball Australia, Basketball New Zealand, States and territories and importantly colleges across the US landscape .We are recognising a dynamic influx entering the Name / Image / Likeness (NIL) space, many of who have no interest in a holistic fit for athletes, driven only by commercial outcomes are recognizing a dynamic influx of agents entering this space, many of whom have no interest in a holistic fit for athletes, driven only by commercial outcomes.
We believe Promondo Sports recognize there are more factors at play in a successful college experience. Some of those factors are demonstrated in the chart:

What
Clients Say
"We are incredibly grateful for the support, care, and dedication of Global Basketball Pathways. Our son dreamed of playing basketball in the USA since age 10, and after facing setbacks, Darren, Adrian, and the team worked tirelessly to help him succeed. Despite the challenges of Covid, they secured multiple opportunities, and our son ultimately committed to South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, where he is thriving both academically and athletically. Thanks to Global Basketball Pathways, he is now living his dream. We can’t thank you enough!"
Michelle - Parent of BAP client and recent college scholarship recipient
The US athletic scholarship system is opaque and confusing, we don't live in the system and have had little idea of how to engage with it. Darren and Global Basketball Pathways has been our guiding light. He has coached us and provided valuable information on both the best realistic college options for our son and on how to connect and market to these schools. Through his knowledge and support our son has received a number of overtures resulting in an athletic scholarship award at a good athletic program school. We are delighted! If you are thinking about US college basketball opportunities, I strongly recommend you speak with Global Basketball Pathways.
Sue (Parent of college bound athlete). Sydney, NSW
College recruitment is certainly a long and winding road! As a family we feel incredibly fortunate to have partnered with Darren and Adrian to help guide us through the recruitment process. Global Basketball Pathways genuinely connected with us, listened to what we hoped to find in a college program and got to know our son on a personal level to enable best outcomes. The was no sales pitch; our journey was based on honesty with a realistic approach. Global Basketball Pathways supported us on all aspects of recruitment (on and off the court) and were there for us each step of the way. Ultimately, we locked in a full D1 scholarship that was aligned to all criteria on our original brief. Huge thanks to Adrian and Darren for all your work, care and expertise in this area. Job well done!
